ABOUT
Jordi Alós’ practice explores the figure as a tense dialogue between the individual and the collective. His work examines structures of identity through irony and vulnerability.
Through the deformation of the face and the repetition of gesture, his compositions fragment the figurative, generating a visceral impulse through an accumulation of signs. Within this system, the Machango emerges as a hybrid figure, traversing contradiction while inhabiting both protagonism and dissolution within the pictorial field.
